Privacy Policy
Last updated: March 18, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how CCB Lookup (ccblookup.com) collects, uses, and handles information when you use our website. We are committed to being transparent about our practices.
1. Who We Are
CCB Lookup is an independent website operated by Space Bits S.L. (www.spacebits.es), a company registered in Spain. CCB Lookup provides free access to Oregon contractor license information and is not affiliated with the Oregon Construction Contractors Board (CCB) or any Oregon state agency. License data is sourced from the Oregon Open Data Portal under Oregon's Open Data Law (ORS 276A.350–374).
2. Contractor Data We Publish
The contractor license information displayed on this site — including names, license numbers, addresses, bond and insurance details — is public record sourced from two Oregon state agencies:
- Oregon Construction Contractors Board (CCB) — via the Oregon Open Data Portal. This dataset is published under the Public Domain U.S. Government license, which permits free use and redistribution without restriction. Updated daily.
- Oregon Building Codes Division (BCD) — via the Oregon Open Data Portal. This dataset covers electrical, plumbing, HVAC, boiler, and other specialized trade licenses issued by the BCD, a separate state agency from the CCB. Published under the same Public Domain U.S. Government license. Updated monthly.
How We Obtain and Update License Data
Every day, our system automatically downloads the complete CCB Active Licenses dataset from the Oregon Open Data Portal. For each record in the dataset, we check whether the license already exists in our database:
- New licenses — records that do not yet exist in our database are added automatically, including the contractor's name, address, license type, bond, insurance, and RMI information.
- Updated licenses — records where any field has changed (e.g. bond amount, insurance expiration, license status) are updated to reflect the latest information from the official CCB dataset.
- Expired or inactive licenses — licenses that no longer appear in the active dataset are flagged accordingly and may still be visible on this site for historical reference.
This process ensures that CCB Lookup reflects the official CCB data within 24 hours of any change. BCD license data is synchronized monthly, following the official BCD publication schedule. The last synchronization date is displayed on every page of this site.
We also display business information sourced from the Google Places API, including ratings, reviews, business hours, and operational status, where available. This data is refreshed periodically and governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
CCB Lookup does not sell, rent, or monetize contractor data. We do not accept payment from contractors to modify, suppress, or improve their listing or Trust Score.
