This makes the RGC license the standard choice for kitchen remodels, bathroom renovations, home additions, and new construction projects involving multiple trades.

To hold an active RGC license, a contractor must maintain a CCB surety bond (minimum $20,000) and general liability insurance at Oregon-required minimums. The CCB verifies both at licensing and at every renewal. Oregon law requires RGC contractors to carry workers' compensation insurance if they employ workers.
